46th Annual Yuba City Sikh Parade 2025 schedule

October 31 : Fireworks for Diwali (after dark) and start of celebrations

November 1: Nishan Sahib Sewa and Open House at Dashmesh Hall (usually noon)

November 2: Nagar Kirtan (Sikh Parade) start time around 11:00 AM (this is the day we gain an hour DST)

Sikh Parade starts at 2468 Tierra Buena Blvd., Yuba City, California 95993 with free shuttle service from parking at River Valley High School starting early that morning to the parade's starting point and also returning to the high school.

Since 1979, the Sikh Temple of Yuba City hosts the annual parade commemorating the installation of the 11th and eternal Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (Sikh holy scriptures). People from near and far participate in this celebration.  Visitors are welcome!  It is an event for families, neighbors and friends.  Listen to Gurbani, Kirtan, Katha and see Gatka (Sikh martial arts).  Langar in the form of beverages, snacks and meals, are served all weekend including along the 4.5 mile parade route on Sunday Nov. 2nd to everyone.  Sikhs pray for blessings for all and for Yuba City during the parade.
